The city of Omaha, Nebraska, will celebrate 100 years of hosting Mexican-American festivals in our community. In 1920, the first festival was publicly documented in local newspapers as more than 500 Mexican-Americans and their families celebrated with live music, traditional dancers, and authentic food.
