
Our Mission
Cinco de Mayo Omaha (CDMO) is a community-based, nonprofit organization whose mission is to present a culturally and historically significant celebration of ethnic diversity. Its format and structure has grown into one of the country’s major festivals offering music, performing arts, family attractions and culinary choices. While CDMO’s fundamental basis is rooted in Mexican expression, it's re-imagining itself into academic and personal growth training experiences for young people. The event has given over $250,000 in scholarships and internships.
