Casa de la Cultura is dedicated to building a vibrant community by preserving and promoting the rich tapestry of cultural diversity in Omaha. We empower future leaders, and families to thrive, contributing to economic vitality and fostering a welcoming space for our diverse community to learn, grow, and share in our collective heritage.
Our organization, recipients of the Henry Fonda Tourism Award from the State of Nebraska, serves and specializes in Tourism, Historic Preservation, Special Events, Youth Development & Festivals.
DRIVING TOURISM TO OMAHA
We are proud to have received the prestigious 2023 Henry Fonda Award, NE's highest tourism award. This award represents our leadership, vision, and dedication to the tourism industry. Marcos Eduardo Mora, our esteemed leader, received the award from Nebraska Tourism Director John Ricks and Lt. Gov. Joe Kelly. With Marcos at the helm, Cinco de Mayo Omaha has grown to become the largest local event in Omaha and one of the top three events in the State of Nebraska.

CELEBRATING 104 YEARS
In honor of its rich Mexican heritage, Nebraska's South Omaha Latino community has been hosting Mexican festivals in Omaha for decades, dating back to 1920. Join us at next year’s festival as we celebrate 105 years of history. Thank you to Woodmen Life for supporting our historic preservation efforts.
