About
Casa de la Cultura (Casa) is a community-based, nonprofit organization whose mission is to present a culturally and historically significant celebration of ethnic diversity. Its format and structure have grown and overseen two of Omaha’s major festivals— Cinco de Mayo Omaha and Fiesta Omaha that offers music, performing arts, family attractions, and culinary choices. While Casa's fundamental basis is rooted in Mexican expression, it is re-imagining itself into academic and personal growth training experiences for young people through scholarships, intern marketing program and workforce development.
