Casa de la Cultura will present 105 years of Mexican festival in 2025. As the longest running ethnic festivals in Omaha, we will kick it off with our annual Cinco de Mayo Omaha (CDMO) festival, Nebraska’s #1 cultural attraction and the recipient of the 2023 Henry Fonda Award.

About the Event

Over the 3-day weekend Omaha’s #1 diverse festival attracted some 200,000+ visitors from five states (Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, Nebraska) with about 65% being of Latino decent. Due to its popularity and according to TripAdvisor, CDMO is one of the top five Cinco de Mayo festivals in the country that attracts vendors from Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis, Des Moines and Kansas City.  Cinco de Mayo Omaha runs an incredible marketing campaign covering four states in radio, television, social media, print, posters, banners, digital signs and media coverage.
