Golf Tournament

The Barrientos Scholarship Foundation will be hosting its 2023 Annual Golf Tournament, sponsored by Geena Gomez of Alvarez Insurance Agency, on Friday October 6th at Tregaron Golf Course located at 13909 Glengarry Cir, Bellevue, NE 68123.  Registration will be at 9:00 am and a Shotgun Start at 10:00 am.  We will have a meal afterward along with prizes and lots of fun.

Our 2024/25 goal is to raise $50,000 and improve student Scholarship awards to (10) Scholarships. We understand this is a big challenge but with your help and support we are very confident it is attainable. To help achieve this goal, please share, and disseminate this information to your partners, co-workers, family members, and friends so we may achieve the goal of (10) Scholarships awarded.

Since the Barrientos Scholarship Foundation was founded in 2005, we have awarded over $285,000 in scholarships to 232 Metro Omaha College Students. These scholarships are the foundation to a good education and without them most of the BSF recipients would not be able to afford the high costs of a College Education. This year BSF received nearly 90 applicants and will be awarding (7) scholarships totaling $26,000; to outstanding and well deserved students to attend Colleges and Universities across the Great State of Nebraska.

• Sponsoring Putting Green Signage, $400 donation
