About the event
Celebrate Latino entrepreneurship, education and community at the Viva Business Luncheon on May 28, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Metropolitan Community College South Campus. Hosted by Casa de la Cultura, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering cultural connections, business leadership, and economic opportunities for Omaha’s Latino community, this event highlights the vital contributions of Latino-owned businesses to our city and beyond.
Attendees will enjoy food, entertainment, and engaging conversations about business development, mentorship, education and the growing Latino business sector. Your support of the Viva Business Luncheon helps promote economic growth, cultural understanding, and the South Omaha community.
Our partner the Barrientos Scholars Foundation, will award scholarships to our next youthful leaders as well as recognizing our community leaders: Jose & Linda Garcia, Jorge Nila, Theresa Barron-McKeagney, Abelardo & Delores Hernandez, Manuel González
